In Holy Relationships there is a fail-proof formula practiced that ends conflict. It exposes and heals the root of conflict that is prevalent in all special relationships. Let me explain this fundamental issue.

In the Holy Relationship there is a mutual purpose and goal, and that is to prioritize God’s Will above all else. This involves the consistent application of forgiveness and The Seven Key Principles of Holy Relationship, which together offer a fail-proof formula to end all conflict.

When two or more people join and commit to this one goal with Holy Spirit, God’s Will is established and embraced above all else. There is no conflict in His Will and therefore, none in the Holy Relationship. The partners are divinely synchronized and guided together in and as God’s Will. In other words, they do not favor an independent will, a personal will apart from Holy Spirit.

When two or more people join in Holy Relationship and their “unified will” becomes mindfully one with Love and innocence, they become joyfully selfless together. The separate, self-governing “identity” with its obsessive white-knuckled grip on life, falls away. Thus, the small self becomes redundant because joyful, glorious and liberated union has come to take its place.

When we believe we are autonomous and independent from Spirit, then we will automatically believe we’re also separate from others including our loved ones. We will believe that it’s possible for them to have and to enforce a separate will of their own, complete with agendas opposed to ours. Our personal will, will seem to clash with the personal will of others. And this is what occurs in all special relationships. Belief in the illusion of separate wills and agendas is the singular cause of all conflict.

While we are mindlessly convinced by the illusion that we each have separate wills (minds) and bodies, we will see conflict everywhere, in our bodies as sickness, in our families, our communities and our world. We will believe in enemies and that we could be attacked by them in an endless number of forms, i.e. betrayal, abandonment, illness, pain, depression, loss, lack and death.

However, hiding beneath the quest for personal will and special relationships with their endless conflict, is a far greater rival for the separate self. While the false-self is kept busy compartmentalizing and running its own special relationships and life, by its rules and laws, its frenetic concern and activity serve to conceal the discovery of its supreme adversary. One that we’ve been running from since time itself began.

Here is the greatest enemy of all time. This is God; as changeless Love and incorruptible innocence. This is our one, shared and Holy Self. This is our one unified Will, our true Will. The one unified Mind we share with every Child of God whether they are aware of it or not. The separate self’s greatest fear is not death, but the realization that we share one unrivaled Will, we are all one in, and as Love.

Our Mind cannot be separate! Our Will cannot be divided! There are no separate people with independent wills and agendas of their own. There are no “private” thoughts. We share the Mind of God as one Self.

The one Mind of God, of the changeless Love and innocence we share, is continuous, uninterrupted and unopposed. It cannot be threatened. It shares all of God’s Power and has dominion over all that the split mind hallucinated including conflict, sickness and death.

This illusion of a split will – or conflict –with others is a mirror of the investment, the value we placed in our own split mind. It must be unified as one in God’s Will which is our one, shared Holy Self. This Self extends continuously without a break, without the imagined opposition that we seem to see coming from the body’s five physical senses.

Remember that projection always makes perception. It literally makes what we appear to see. We are confronted by what it desires to see, which is evidence of separation, conflict and death.  We only ever see what the ego has projected outward to cover and hide from us what is really there – God’s Will as one, undivided explosion of joy and happy union!

If we believe what the ego has hurled forth then we are blinded and concede to it. This is what occurs in every relationship conflict. We never conflict with a person. We actually see and react to what the false-self projects which is what it wants from them. It needs to believe in conflict; that we each have separate and personal wills which can collide and battle, win or lose. Recall that in order to sustain the illusion of a false-self, it must believe in conflict and be unfairly treated.

This means when we appear to encounter an obstacle, a problem or conflict no matter its form, it is always a hallucination arising from our own fearful split mind.

This is why part of the forgiveness process involves the discipline to look past what the five physical senses report. If not, we will be hypnotized by them in fear which then denies us access to Holy Spirit’s help. In fear we actually believe the illusion. And once we believe it, it cannot be forgiven and Holy Spirit cannot heal it. We must be willing to join with Spirit, recognizing that the singular cause of the problem was our choice to be separate from our one, shared and Holy Self. This is always the only cause of all adversity – the choice to be separate. This and only this requires healing.

Once we accept Atonement for this then the seeming consequences or effects – are healed by Holy Spirit. We don’t need to be concerned about “effects” because if we are we won’t be able to heal the single cause.

We learn to look past the body’s senses and appetites, in order to make way for direct vision or Christ Vision. This is the outcome of our desire to look past what the body’s senses report; we see what is really there which is always unity and healing. But we won’t see this while we value a self-serving, personal will.

It is impossible to attack or punish our self or someone else without also condemning our self. If we attack our self privately, we attack everyone. There is no “private self.” It’s impossible to inflict pain anywhere and not suffer from it our self. The reason is because we are one mind. When we try to take from one person, we rob our self. This is literal. There is no one else out there to take from.

Just to drive this crucial point home, if I am triggered by conflict in any form, I must perceive it through the separate, personal will. To the degree I am triggered tells me the extent to which this “self” wants it, and has projected it. Undoing of my perception through – forgiveness and Atonement – is necessary at the cause level if I want to heal this.

In stark contrast, the one, unified Holy Self knows and therefore, sees only God’s unified Will. Because it is not separate, it has no opposing “will.” It does not believe in projected “appearances,” instead it expects to see God’s Will, which is really there behind the false appearance, as wholly healed and happy.

In the Holy Relationship the idea of separate, personal wills each with their own independent agendas, disappears. The world of duality can only seem to appear when two or more people agree to witness a gap between them. The entire world of conflict and suffering is made by and in that gap. And it is upheld by their agreement to continue witnessing it.

The Holy Relationship is the final Victory Lap, the closing of the dream of time. When two or more join in this unprecedented union and agree to witness no gap, the world is healed along with them.

“This holy relationship, lovely in its innocence, mighty in strength, and blazing with a light far brighter than the sun that lights the sky you see, is chosen of your Father as a means for His Own plan. Be thankful that it serves yours not at all. Nothing entrusted to it can be misused, and nothing given it but will be used. This holy relationship has the power to heal all pain, regardless of its form. Neither you nor your brother alone can serve at all. Only in your joint will does healing lie. For here your healing is, and here will you accept Atonement. And in your healing is the Sonship healed [because] your will and your brother’s are joined.”

“Before a holy relationship there is no sin. The form of error is no longer seen, and reason, joined with love, looks quietly on all confusion, observing merely, “This was a mistake.” And then the same Atonement you accepted in your relationship corrects the error, and lays a part of Heaven in its place. How blessed are you who let this gift be given! Each part of Heaven that you bring is given you.” T-22.VI.4:1,4-8,5:1-5
