From The End of Death, Volume Two

The totality of my safety and security lay within. My unwavering invulnerability is only known in the sanctified stillness of my soul. My eternal and incorruptible innocence has never left me. It has never known of guilt, fear or of attack. This unopposed innocence that I AM dwells quietly within and has never left me. But I will not join the Will of God and embody this Truth while I still choose to believe and thus value fear in any thought or form.

What is God’s Will for me? How do I know God?

God knows me only as whole, eternal, guiltless, blameless and forever indestructible. In any instant that I show-up and offer to receive my grace and innocence instead of fear, I close the gap within. There is no gap of fear that cannot be closed when I show-up for my Self in grace and innocence.

In any one moment where do I aim my awareness? What am I constantly reinforcing in my awareness? Is it through the false-self’s fear filter? Do I mistakenly believe what the body eyes see?

Or do I choose only to see my Self, my body, others, the past and the world, through the Eye of my Heart as the one unified Heart of God? Am I consistently reinforcing the Love of God “I AM?”

The only reason we seem to witness the illusion of fear in our self, the body, others and the world, is because we mistakenly blocked our awareness from Love. It was a decision. But now we can simply choose again. God’s Truth as changeless Love is all that exists – ever. Changeless Love is incorruptible innocence. We cannot have one without the other because they are the same.

This means that our incorruptible innocence (Love) is True, and that nothing else is True. But – we won’t know the deep security that our incorruptible innocence brings until we wholly engage in longing for nothing else! While we still believe the effects of fear are real then we still want fear.

The Truth is True and nothing else is True. Yet if we continue to believe that “some” fearful outcomes are more real than others and worthy of our belief, we are hopelessly divided. Nothing other than our shared incorruptible innocence is True. We must immerse our Self in this completely in order to really know the embodied experience of Love without opposite.

The heart must long for this. However to do so involves going from the head to the heart, to allow Holy Spirit to reveal what fear has previously hidden from us.

The false-self only knows fear and has never, not even for one instant experienced changeless Love and incorruptible innocence. Only the unified and indivisible Holy Self is Love and innocence. When we practice “willing with God” to see only the Truth then the false-self must fall away. Remember that we can only ever perceive fear through the false-self/body. And we can only ever perceive or extend Love and innocence through the Holy Self. When we are tempted by fear in all its illusory forms the question to ask is, “Who is seeing and believing this?” It must be the ego.

“Salvation is the recognition that the truth is true, and nothing else is true. This you have heard before, but may not yet accept both parts of it. Without the first, the second has no meaning. But without the second, is the first no longer true. Truth cannot have an opposite. This can not be too often said and thought about. For if what is not true is true as well as what is true, then part of truth is false. And truth has lost its meaning. Nothing but the truth is true, and what is false is false.”  W-152.3.

What do I want? What do I value – above all else? Do I want to meet God as His most beloved Child?

Do I recognize that every twinge of fear, guilt, anger, concern, self-doubt, pain or judgment, is solely a consequence of my desire to be apart from God’s Loving awareness as my Holy Self? Simply, it can only show-up if I desire to keep a gap between myself and Love and innocence. If so, then do I realize that I unwittingly classify “myself” as God’s opposite, as fear?

And if I secretly condemn myself as God’s opposite (fear), is it any wonder I feel a persistent sense of threat? Because in this delusion my only opponent is God (Love, innocence). What am I? I am either total, undivided Love – or – I am total, undivided fear. There is no in between!

All fear no matter the form, is a direct effect of my desire to be separate from my eternal Source of innocence as Love itself.

“It is impossible to see two worlds which have no overlap of any kind. Seek for the one; the other disappears. But one remains. They are the range of choice beyond which your decision cannot go. The real and the unreal are all there are to choose between, and nothing more than these.”  W-130.5.

“The world you see must be denied, for sight of it is costing you a different kind of vision. [You cannot see both worlds,] for each of them involves a different kind of seeing, and depends on what you cherish. The sight of one is possible because you have denied the other.”  T-13.VII.2:1-3

Christ Vision is the decision to look out from the Eye of the Heart. It sees itself in all it looks upon. It looks clear through the most tempting ego appearances of conflict, pain, illness, scarcity and even death. It does not attempt to change what the ego sees because everything the ego sees does not exist. It simply reinstates what was always there but was blocked by fear. And it does this by accepting the miracle instead of what the ego imagines is there.

“The miracle does nothing. All it does is to undo. And thus it cancels out the interference to what has been done. It does not add, but merely takes away. “ … “All the effects of guilt are here no more. For guilt is over. In its passing went its consequences, left without a cause. Why would you cling to it in memory if you did not desire its effects?” T-28.I.1:1-4,2:1-4

What is it that brings you into your heart? What do you need to open your heart? Who have you not forgiven? Is it someone else or yourself? Why would you waste another minute in shutting out the memory of your precious, innocent and wholly invulnerable Holy Self?

God’s Self and yours are one and the same. Why would you want to believe the lie that you are separate? Withdraw your investment in what the past and the body’s senses have falsely witnessed as true. Let it go.

There are no problems, no conflict, no lack, no pain and no disease when we show-up and drop to our knees to kiss the beloved feet of our most innocent and Holy Self. It has never left us. It has never abandoned us. It is here now and wholly willing to embrace us, shining away every bit of our imagined darkness with its blazing light.

How much do you desire God? Another way to ask the same question is, how much do you desire to know that you are changeless Love and innocence and nothing but this? Are you willing to do whatever it takes? Are you willing to drop to your knees, open heart and empty hands and ask for only this? Or is there something other than this that you still want? Something you deem more valuable?

Are you willing to apply the necessary discipline required to join with Holy Spirit to “sort out” the valueless from the valuable in your mind? Will you join Him in saying “no!” to the temptation of fear and expect the miracle instead? Are you willing to accept the Atonement? And are you willing to trust that He has your back – always?

Jesus asks us to give him our two greatest idols, the ones that consistently blind us to the majestic Self and Real World that we share. But will we?

“I can be entrusted with your body and your ego only because this enables you not to be concerned with them, and lets me teach you their unimportance. I could not understand their importance to you if I had not once been tempted to believe in them myself. Let us undertake to learn this lesson together so we can be free of them together. I need devoted teachers who share my aim of healing the mind. Spirit is far beyond the need of your protection or mine. Remember this: In this world you need not have tribulation because I have overcome the world. That is why you should be of good cheer.” T-4.I.13:4-11

If you only knew that you are Loved, cherished and adored eternally and infinitely. This Love has never wavered even while you prefer to turn your awareness away from it. It has never changed. In fact, it is all there is. And you are it. Yes, you are God’s most treasured creation. And the time has come for you to remember that the Love you so deeply yearn for – is longing for your Return.

“O my child, if you knew what God wills for you, your joy would be complete! And what He wills has happened, for it was always true. When the light comes and you have said, “God’s Will is mine,” you will see such beauty that you will know it is not of you. Out of your joy you will create beauty in His Name, for your joy could no more be contained than His.” T-11.III.3:1-4
