Let me begin by saying that there are only TWO orders of thought that mean anything at all. One is recognized as an expression of Love. The other is a “call for Love.” Calls for Love are seen through fear and disguised as threats (conflict in relationships, pain, illness, scarcity, confusion, worry, guilt, anger, fear, etc.). And unless we learn to recognize that everyone and everything we perceive is completely contained within these two orders of thought and learn to respond appropriately, then no healing occurs. Where there is an absence of this recognition then nothing real actually happens.
When we are triggered by someone or something it is always a “call for Love.” How do we respond, with fear or with Love? God’s totality has no opposite. Remember that everything that arises from fear is simply a distorted miracle-impulse.
If fear is literally not real and God’s Love (as our Identity) is all-encompassing with no opposite – then the ego’s illusory manifestations must originate from a distorted or misdirected miracle impulse.
Everything is either a miracle impulse (expression of Love) or it’s a distorted miracle impulse (call for Love) since all that exists in reality is God’s Love. There is no hierarchy of illusions; there is not one illusion that has more significance or power because they are ALL untrue! And this is why there is no order of difficulty in miracles.
Once we are willing to place all responses we perceive (from others, our self and the world) into these two orders of thought then we open to abundant miracles. Our mind, the source of all we appear to see and experience, can now open to receive and extend the One Heart of God…as our True Identity.
As Jesus shares with us:
“Every interpretation you would lay upon a brother is senseless. Let the Holy Spirit show him to you, and teach you both his love and his call for love. Neither his mind nor yours holds more than these two orders of thought.” T-14.X.11:4-6,12.
“The miracle is the recognition that this is true. Where there is love, your brother must give it to you because of what it is. But where there is a call for love, you must give it because of what you are. Earlier I said this course will teach you how to remember what you are, restoring to you your Identity. We have already learned that this Identity is shared. The miracle becomes the means of sharing It. By supplying your Identity wherever It is not recognized, you will recognize It. And God Himself, Who wills to be with His Son forever, will bless each recognition of His Son with all the Love He holds for him. Nor will the power of all His Love be absent from any miracle you offer to His Son. How, then, can there be any order of difficulty among them?”
